First Post/ Contest Chance

This is my first post. It is not terribly interesting. My blog will be more interesting later. I am creating my blog to showcase my creativity and that of my friends. One friend of mine shows her creativity with fashion and textile hand crafts. You can see her blog @

Since I don't have anything to post at the moment I will let you all in on a sweet contest being held by a fellow blogger. While I don't wear scarves for any personal or spiritual reasons, I wear them because I think they are one of the most striking fashion statements a woman can make. They are alluring and dynamic without being grotesque. I have a small collection of scarves so far, and it is largely thanks to fashionistas in the areas of the world where scarves are both fashion and a way of life that I am able to really "own" the style.
